We test on our side, and we can repro the same issue on Word for Mac 16.56 version as well. We recently receive other threads reporting the same issue. However, if you open same Word document file on a Windows version of Word 365 and it display fine. It seems, you are insert an Excel file (object file) into Word on your MacOS Monterey and Excel object file not displayed in your Word document.
